Troop Meeting Tuesday, February 27

The Tuesday, February 27 meeting will include a presentation about gun safety from Dave Gemperle, an NRA certified gun safety instructor.

We will also discuss the details of the March 2-4 Ski Trip. Reservation forms are due at the February 27 meeting.

Also on Tuesday, scouts who crossed over from Pack 13 last Monday will be presented with their Scout Books. Be sure to welcome our new scouts to the Troop!

On Sunday, March 11th, at 3:00 pm, Scouts from our Troop who attended the gun safety instruction on the 28th will have the opportunity to shoot rifles at the North Side Sportsmen’s Association in Cranberry. Directions and arrangements for transportation will be determined at our Tuesday, March 6th meeting. The cost will be no more than $5.00 per Scout. A waiver must be signed by a parent of each scout participating in the shoot.

Sea Base Meeting Tuesday, February 27

There will be a Sea Base meeting Tuesday, February 27, at 7 pm at Parkwood.  We will discuss travel arrangements, go over the pancake fundraiser (March 18) and Sea Base/Troop 17 t-shirt designs.

Those Scouts who have already gotten their passports should being a copy to the meeting. Also, those who have not paid the $60 airfare deposit should please bring a check made out to Troop 17 to the meeting.

Ski Trip March 2-4

Our Ski Trip to Seven Springs is scheduled for March 2-4.  Information about the trip, the permission slip, and directions to the lodge have been posted to the Announcements page.

Tuesday, February 20 Meeting at North Park

The night walk at North Park has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 20.  We will meet at the North Park Swimming Pool at 7:30 pm.  Dress for the weather!

We will not be at Parkwood at all.
